Sam and Becky are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary. Sam says to Becky, "Becky, I was wondering - have you ever cheated on me?"
Becky replies, "Oh Sam, why would you ask such a question now? You don't want to ask that question..."
"Yes, Becky, I really want to know. Please..."
"Well, all right. Yes, 3 times..."
"Three? Well, when were they?" he asked.
"Well, Sam, remember when you were 35 years old and you really wanted to start the business on your own and no bank would give you a loan? Remember, then one day the bank president himself came over the house and signed the loan papers, no questions asked?"
"Oh, Becky, you did that for me! I respect you even more than ever, to do such a thing for me. So, when was number 2?"
"Well, Sam, remember when you had that last heart attack and you were needing that very tricky operation, and no surgeon would touch you? Then remember how the doctor came all the way up here, to do the surgery himself, and then you were in good shape again?"
"I can't believe it! Becky, you should do such a thingfor me, to save my l ife. I couldn't have a more wonderful wife. To do such a thing, you must really love me darling. I couldn't be more moved. So, all right then, when was number 3?"

My cooking has always been the target of family jokes. One evening, as I prepared dinner a bit too quickly, the kitchen filled with smoke and the smoke detector went off. Although both of my children had received fire-safety training at school, they did not respond to the alarm. Annoyed, I stormed through the house in search of them.
¡¡¡¡I found them in the bathroom, washing their hands. Over the loud buzzing of the smoke alarm, I asked them to identify the sound.
¡¡¡¡"It's the smoke detector," they replied in unison.
¡¡¡¡"Do you know what that sound means?" I demanded.
From the time each of my children started school, wow power leveling,I packed their lunches. And in each lunch I packed, I included a note. Often written on a napkin, the note might be a thank you for a special moment, a reminder of something we were happily anticipating, or a bit of encouragement for an upcoming test or sporting event. But as kids grow older they become self?conscious, and by the time he reached high school, my older son, Marc, informed me he no longer needed my daily missives. Six years after high school graduation, Marc called and asked if he could move home for a couple of months. He had spent those years well, graduating Phi Beta Kappa magna cum laude from college, completing two congressional internships in Washington, wow power leveling,D.C., winning the Jesse Marvin Unruh Fellowship to the California State Legislature, and finally, becoming a legislative assistant in Sacramento. Other than short vacation visits, however, he had lived away from home. With his younger sister leaving for college, I was especially thrilled to have Marc coming home.
A couple weeks after Marc arrived home to rest, regroup and write for a while, he was back at work-he had been recruited to do campaign work. Since I was still making lunch every day for his younger brother, wow gold,I packed one for Marc, too. Imagine my surprise when I got a call from my 24?year?old son, complaining about his lunch.

Name of Character: Rikka Why?: Because this site has the best ideas behind it I've seen in a long time and I'd like to be a part of it. Active: Yes, on almost everyday unless some major issue comes up Example post: Rikka slowly pricked her ears as she heard the stricken whinny of a mare in labor shatter the cool night air. Her fawn-like spotted coat gleamed under the borrowed light of the full spring moon that hung heavy in the sky, as if it were too tired and lazy to make it's full journey. Slender legs carried her through the young grass of the valley, almost floating above it, her delicate hoof prints in the loam the only trace of her passing. The mare cried out again, alone and lathered, as Rikka's caramel eyes fell upon her, watching the mare from a distance.
This scene had played out many times before, Rikka was not new to this. She approached as soon as the wet little bundle that was to be a foal lay in the grass and lowered her muzzle, inspecting the young one. "Please..." The mother gasped, struggling to her feet in the presence of the goddess. Rikka ignored her, continuing to gather the scent of the foal, determining whether or not to give life to this small one. She touched her muzzle to the wet one of the newborn and exhaled, breath rising around them like mist around a waterfall. The small colt lay still for a moment before opening his dark eyes, small ears flickering around. The mare lowered her head in respect, rushing over to nudge and nuzzle her colt, urging him to stand shortly. Rikka quietly wandered away, glancing once over her shoulder, the mare and newborn silhouetted against the rapidly pinking horizon.

There is nothing amiss about it; it has its ups and downs, its lively locations and its quiet places—it has people who aspire to be someone and other people who care only about what they’re doing at the moment. Like most communities, Antica has its fair share of different personalities, but there is one thing that sets it apart from the rest.
There are animals that hang around people—some call them Bonded, some call them inseparable. Either way, almost everyone in the village has their own companion, and even then, there are surrounding areas where more untamed creatures roam free. The most peculiar thing, by far, about these creatures—these animals—whatever you choose to call them, is their… well, their powers.
Their elements, it would be better to say. There are nine elements in total and every animal within the village and roaming free is part of one of the elements. People within Antica have their own jobs regarding the creatures, from Trainers to Hunters (contrary to popular belief, people with this job don’t kill the animals—they catch them and sell them for profit).
It is a way of life here, to use the animals for everyday jobs and to help them grow stronger and compete with them. Newcomers are arriving in Antica with every new day, and with the village’s population growing, there is a higher demand for elemental animals. The Ausbrüten Grotto opens twice a year for people to come and find an egg of their very own, but will that be enough to support this expanding town?

Acantha smiled a bit feeling more comforted by Vampyr's response. Fangs revealed themselves a bit and her adrenaline began its pulsing course through her veins once more. Do not worry ... Her voice dipped seductively. I can keep up just fine. She turned rising on steel pillars, and jumped forward a bit waiting for the other two. Maw tried not to smirk at Starch's response to their running.

Plot: Deep in the dark nothingness of death, a planet was growing.
Vita and Nyteic ruled in balance until the birth of two children. The first, Jeremiah, had a golden coat and a heart to match. Layla contradicted her brother with a fiery cold heart, highlighted by a crimson pelt. Both foals carried on the trait of immortality, only having weakness or mercy to the other.
After two years of torture from his sister, Jeremiah could take no more and felt his life was in danger, took flight and went into hiding in hopes of finding other equines of his kind. In anger, Layla took to the opposite side of the land, seeking destruction and an army to destroy her kin.
It was at this time that other equines, with good, balanced or evil hearts, began to appear and all lived a simple protected life until the unthinkable happened.
Vita, the immortal white Goddess, was dead. Killed by the trickery and malice of Oriel and Dark Prince and Layla the Dark Princess, the lands of Dawn were struck with the dreadful thought of losing one of their Gods. The lights no longer held the protection of the white dove, and Nyteic was sent into a mad rage of depression as his love is gone. Yet there is one thing that the darks did not count on, and that is that Vita is not completely gone, for her soul runs within the wind and water as she is still an immortal being created by the World itself. The future is untold but with that comes revenge. So now that the Downfall has occurred, where will your path lead you? To the growing disease of the darks, or to the dwindling forces of the light? Choose carefully, for the wrong move might take your life.
