A thorn amongst thorns

[glow=green,2,300]Silver hued vixen trod upon the lands as though she owned them, she had nothing to fear, none of the creatures nearby looked at all aggressive. Fangs grated the side of her tongue and she let the blood trickle across her lip. The accidental movement was nothing unusual for her. Her urge to kill pulsed through 'er veins. Sadistic trails of thoughts flickered through her mind, agitating her soul once more. She knew 'er original reason for coming was to find an easy kill, but her energy was slowly draining after her travels and there was no risk in endangering 'erself with a foolish love-struck beast striking at her during an attack. Chocolate and crimson orbs layed her sights on a thicket of thorn bushes. How clever... I shall be a thorn amongst thorns. She thought, and padded into the bushes without a care as the branches raked at her flesh, laying softly she eased herself into a quick sleep.[/glow]

[Lullaby]

A large wolf ran upon the land, his ebony coat was pitch black except for toxic green circles on his shoulders. The wolf stopped at a hill in the land smelling the air for any scent, and surly enough he had caught a scent. Trotting over to a thorn bush and stopping infront of it, starring into its
shadows he saw a figure sleeping. “Come out of there before you bleed to death and there’s nothing left” he said in an eerie tone as his large fangs showed, strange that they were longer then a normal wolf.

[glow=green,1,000]Audites lifted to catch the fleeting tones of an approaching creature, another of 'er specie. She had been resting only momentarily, but she felt very alive and powerful. Rising from her slumber she would have appeared to be weak and unstable yet her muscles were pulled like dangerous springs. Shaking her pelt of sterling Acantha glared at the wolf, his fangs were poised dangerously near. Signing as though she had seen this beast many times before she let her own orbs to scrutinize the one before her. Whispers rang like talons on glass. And if I do...? Shall it worry the so? Her optics studied him, waiting for his reaction to 'er wonders. She had carried herself out of the thorns by now, but her haunches were still shadowed by their branches. [/glow]

[Lullaby]

Vampyr backed away slightly to allow the she-wolf to crawl out of the thorn bush slightly. “Well, you are the only other wolf I’ve seen besides my brother, as which were is he, he was right behind me a couple of minutes ago.” he said as he turned his toxic eyes towards were he had came from. At almost the same time a red blur was approaching them, and in no time was right behind the ebony wolf, those same canines showed from his jaw. “You shouldn’t run that fast, you could have been killed! And if that happened then the Skjerm pack would cease to exist!” the other said in a worried tone. The black wolf rolled his eyes as the other bickered on and on until he butted in, “Starch, you should act more polite when in the presence of a lady” he said, clearly trying to make a statement

[glow=green,1,000]A smirk played its way across her maw as she listened to the two before her. Her orbs could not leave either of their forms for long, for they did not scare her - but she was afraid that they were mirages. She shook her flag to untangle it from the thicket and stepped further out. Well, it should not worry the so - as it does. I have no intentions upon leaving these lands and I assure you I can loose a little blood here and there. Her words flowed so smoothly and her tone changed from threatening to alluring. She was tempted to laugh at her own persona, many times described by her father, as Mercury. Auds could almost hear his words - she was made from liquid mercury, amazing to look at - but deadly to touch.Well, 'ello to both of you. May I inquire on your callings? Her silver form began to relax a bit, her tense muscles loosened enough for her to be calmer but spiral out of control if anything did arise.[/glow]

“I am Vampyr, and the red wolf is
my brother Starch” the black wolf said as he
looked back over at his brother who still had
a worried look on his face. Starch, as his brother
might have added, was as worried as a rabbit,
but he decided to safe his brother the humiliation.
“Also what, my we ask is yours?” Starch
said, clearly trying to ignore the look his brother
gave him that seemed to say don’t humiliate
yourself.. At this time the
two brothers had made themselves comfortable
and were sitting down, not fearful of the she-wolf,
although Starch showed tension it was quite normal,
all in a days life of the two brothers.

[glow=green,2,300]The vixen forced herself to relax and sit along with the others. She listened to them recite their names and watched how the black wolf, Vampyr was much calmer than the red one, Starch. She could easily sense his worry but she wondered why he was so tense, he was much larger than her if than was his only anguish. "My whisper is Acantha. And what are you both doing, roaming through these lands? Her large harks still flagged to catch the sounds of the area. She shifted her paws to move into a more comfortable position.[/glow]

[Lullaby]

“Nice to meet you Acantha” Vampyr stated, although Starch remain submissive and not so talkative. It was when the question that the she-wolf asked did he state what they were doing, as his position as the beta. “Well, we weren’t really coming here we just roam around these lands from time to time, I guess you were just here while we were passing by” Starch said as he tried to force himself to calm down, like his brother always he needs to chill. “What we would like to know is why you are here” Vampyr added, trying to gather up enough information on the she-wolf.

[glow=green,2,300]Ivory blades were revealed when the vix nodded and smiled after responding. "I was originally coming to find an easy kill, but I seemed to have used more energy than I had planned while traveling. I haven't spent much time around this particular area." Acantha was now seeing each wolf's persona. And Vampyr seemed to be more interested in finding out information and was more calm, while Starch's distant nature and nervousness sent a strange wave of the fact that she could not "read" him through her head. This bothered her and she wondered exactally what was keeping the wolf on edge, as her reason's were far from pleasant...[/glow]

[Lullaby]

“Well you won’t find much around here, only
vermin that are hardly a snack” Vampyr said
as Starch nodded in agreement, surely there
were not a lot of the bigger creatures around
here. As of now Starch had started to calm down
a bit more, though he still looked a bit jumpy and
unpredictable. “Besides our territory has much
bigger game then this land, though catching them
might be a little hard if you don’t know how to swim”
Add Starch in a jittery voice.

[glow=green,2,300]Audites swivled fully toward the wolves. Paws shifted a bt as she caught the scent of a dieing creature nearby. But Vampyr's words topped her senses from lurching into attack mode. "I see, then would it be any disturbance if I joined you in your terrain? And I am quite good at swimming." Acantha hoped that it would be no problem, her voice was shaky from the slight raise of adrenaline but it was still as alluring as before.[/glow]

[Lullaby]

Vampyr nodded as Starch surprisingly showed a
small smile at her response. “Well then if that is
decided you are welcome to come with us, if you
can keep up” Vampyr said with enthusiasm, as his
brothers eyes looked like they were going to pop
out of his skull in disbelief, once again it seemed
Starch would have to find his way home alone by
being left behind. “Not again!! You expect me to
run all the way back!” He said, though still holding
his voice back infront of his brother whom just jokingly
laugh at his brothers response.

[glow=green,2,300]Acantha smiled a bit feeling more comforted by Vampyr's response. Fangs revealed themselves a bit and her adrenaline began its pulsing course through her veins once more. Do not worry ... Her voice dipped seductively. I can keep up just fine. She turned rising on steel pillars, and jumped forward a bit waiting for the other two. Maw tried not to smirk at Starch's response to their running.[/glow]
