[glow=blue,1,300]Tiny audites pricked to the tones of lapping waters, they sounded so inviting, so pure, so true... Daggers of ivory sliced into the soft earth - the edge of the lake. This cove was shallow like most of the lake except for the middle which was around only ten feet in depth, but here the waters warmed quickly in the sunlight that painted itself across the whole terra. Silver dappled pelt shimmered in its soft glow waves of shivers ran down the petite spine, some unfamiliar instinct told her to step in. Crania tilted to see her dam lying in the thicker emerald blades by the forest. Tiny stalks lifted one dagger into the aqua liquid, then the next until she was standing up to her hocks in the water. It played along her legs lapping at them, trying to encourage her to go deeper as if it were calling her. She began concentrating, watching Achos playing on the other side and galloping towards her. Strangely roses began growing in her footsteps, and the water around her turned a deep lilac hue, it ran up around her legs, snaking towards her sides and tracing its way down her spine. Afraid of the strange waters Satinka turned abruptly and galloped out of the waters as fast as her petite frame would travel.[/glow]

How does fear start?
When we are so small,
Fear of being alone,
With our cries we call.

Then comes further fear,
Fear of things we can't see,
Fear of the dark,
“Please don’t leave me.”

Then comes more fear,
Fear of unacceptance,
Do they want to be my friend?
Will this fear ever end?

Then comes teenage fear,
Fear of growing up,
Is this all I will be?
Will anyone ever trust me?

We pass through,
So much fear,
We go through it,
Year after year.

In old age we come full cycle,
Fear in our old bones,
We return to the oldest fear,
'I don’t want to be alone.'

Finally fear of death,
Comes with our last breath,
And that's when one comes to see,
Fear is reality.

Fear is the biggest test,
It never lets us rest,
So don't give fear a chance,
To hold you in a trance.

Take it by its toe,
In your heart, open a window,
Throw fear out and you will see,
Once and for all you can truly be free.

[glow=lightgreen,1,600]Sometimes, even the smallest of winds can turn out be the loudest of thunders. Achos bolted briskly towards the forest, the trees and foliage whipping by him at alarming rates with a stray vine slapping his dark chest all to often. The edge was closer and dispite his urge to try his plan off the higher cliffs he wanted to be in sight of his dam to lower his risk of troubles. Toosing his fine head and kicking up his daggers a bit he lurched ever closer to the edge. He attempted to rear instride but nothing of his wishes came forward to reveal themselves, he was leaping blind. Banner flew behind him wildly and his short tassles flapped against his maturing nape. He was ready. Spotting Satinka in the purple hued waters he jumped a bit, his stride taken short by the surprise but it didn't slow the approach of the edge of the cliff. He lept and in pure shock and amazment he felt like a wild beast had broken his spine. Ravenlike wings that matched his strange ebony, jade and ashen hued bod emerged from his lithe frame. Pushing as though on the ground he jumped forward, but his energy was drained from the long sprint to the edge and he glided down to the earth near his shaking sister. Achos landed without grace upon the soil and stood in disbelief with Satinka. It a raging torrent his wings dissapeared - evaporating into his frame.[/glow]
